The Care Administration is responsible for care and support in ordinary housing, special housing, and for people in need of municipal health and medical care. The goal is for the elderly to be able to live as active and independent a life as possible. The guiding principle in the work is a health-promoting approach, where we highly value teamwork. The administration has just over 500 employees.

The Authority Unit consists of eight authority administrators, a relative coordinator, and a unit manager. The division of responsibilities is area-divided into four geographical areas and a homecoming team. The Authority Unit is located in the municipal building in central Nybro.

The workgroup is characterized by good cooperation, trust, and great commitment. We value each other's knowledge and strive together to continuously develop our work to ensure a legally secure authority exercise with good service.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The tasks of the authority administrator mainly consist of conducting social investigations and assessing and deciding on assistance in accordance with the Social Services Act. The work also includes follow-ups, conducting individual coordinated planning, and providing guidance and information about the operations. The target group is the elderly and people with disabilities.

The work involves collaboration with several different actors both internally and externally. Contacts with customers, relatives/representatives, as well as collaboration with colleagues, providers, and other professionals within the operational area such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses.

The work involves working both independently and in cross-professional teams linked to each area.

We work from a health-promoting approach with the customer's needs at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a future social worker or has another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. If you have experience in authority administration based on the Social Services Act and previous work with the target group, it is meritorious.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured in your work. You are empathetic and have a good approach, contributing to a good collaborative climate. You are comfortable working independently while being flexible and able to switch between different areas as needed.

You need to have good computer skills and a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. A B driver's license is required.
